Privacy Policy

When you use Teaser Pools, we collect:

• Account information - your display name, email address, and password (hashed, never stored in plain text)
• Pool activity - picks you submit, teaser selections, and scores
• Payment information - billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment credentials
• Usage data - error logs collected via Sentry to help us diagnose bugs

We use your information to:

• Operate your account and pool memberships
• Send transactional emails (pick reminders, week results, commissioner broadcasts) via Resend
• Process payments via Stripe
• Diagnose errors and improve the Service

We do not sell your data. We do not send marketing emails.

We share data with the following third parties only to the extent necessary to operate the Service:

• Supabase - database and authentication hosting
• Vercel - application hosting and edge infrastructure
• Stripe - payment processing
• Resend - transactional email delivery
• Sentry - error monitoring (error messages and stack traces only; no personal data is intentionally included)

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed within 30 days. Pool history (picks, scores) may be retained in aggregate and anonymized form.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To make a request, email us at support@teaserpools.com. If you are located in the EU/EEA, you may also have rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

We use cookies only for authentication session management (via Supabase). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify users by email.
